Erez Jontef is the founder of Hotel Prophet, a hospitality asset strategy platform focused on demand architecture, revenue architecture, profit optimization and hotel asset performance.
Hotel Prophet works with hotel owners and investors to strengthen pricing power, improve profitability and unlock long-term asset value through disciplined commercial strategy.
His work has spanned luxury resorts, integrated casino hotels and major urban hospitality assets across the United States.
Erez brings more than two decades of experience in hotel revenue leadership and commercial strategy, having led pricing strategy, revenue optimization and market positioning across more than 45 hospitality assets representing over $10 billion in hotel real estate value.
He began his career with Marriott International and later spent five years with Hilton Hotels Corporation, developing foundational expertise in hotel revenue management and commercial operations within two of the world’s largest hospitality organizations.
He later joined Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and The Water Club, operating within the MGM Resorts International and Boyd Gaming joint venture, where he led the rollout of Rainmaker revenue optimization systems and supported the commercial expansion of The Water Club luxury hotel tower, aligning casino demand segmentation with hotel revenue strategy.
Erez subsequently served as Senior Vice President of Revenue at Northwood Hospitality, overseeing revenue strategy across a portfolio of luxury assets including The New York Palace and Towers, Waldorf Astoria Naples / Naples Grande and Revere Hotel Boston Common.
During this period, he supported the commercial launch of The Marker Key West Harbor Resort and the repositioning of Parrot Key Hotel & Villas, contributing to a major operational turnaround ahead of its subsequent sale.
He later oversaw commercial strategy across Platinum Equity’s hospitality portfolio, including the transition of hotel management operations from Crescent Hotels & Resorts to Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
Erez subsequently worked with Highgate, supporting commercial strategy initiatives across institutional hospitality assets.
He later served as Executive Vice President and a founding leadership team member at EOS Hospitality, helping establish the firm’s commercial strategy platform and supporting launches and repositionings including Isla Bella Beach Resort in the Florida Keys and the repositioning of Crowne Plaza Hamilton in Washington, DC.
